what our clients say about us

When my daughter completed high school we needed to find a day program for her to attend. We visited a few different programs and Camelot Centre was the best place for her, she was visibly relaxed and comfortable when we visited. There is always such a warm and friendly atmosphere at the Centre. The leaders have a genuine interest in how the clients are doing and what they have to contribute to conversations. The lessons are both interesting and educational. She enjoys sharing what she has learned at Camelot when she gets home at the end of the day. She loves being creative when they have their outings to The Art Gallery. Yoga and the neighborhood walks are her favourites as she loves being active. I am able to go to work each day and know that she is in a safe and caring environment. My daughter has been attending Camelot for 5 years now and she loves it. I wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else!

My son has been at Camelot for almost 10 years, and he still has a smile on his face every day as he goes in the door. He can do sports like basketball and hockey in the gym, cook in the full size kitchen and practice art, yoga, dancing, and music in the great room. There are many special activities, such as Olympic Day, Pirates Day, and Pajama Day. Holiday and birthdays are celebrated. There are hikes to the lake, swimming and bowling outings, and a variety of activities to keep the days interesting. The staff, at Camelot, are key to its success. There is a high staff ratio and this ensures that the clients are safe, and that there is assistance as needed. As a parent it is very comforting to be able to leave my son in such a secure, safe, and welcoming setting.
